Hi Alice,
Jacob Honeyman in the burial list 14th Nov 1832 was my 4x Great Grandad. He was baptised at Hutton on 16th Aug. 1757 as William Honeyman. Wouldn't it have been great if they had listed all the christian names of the people when they baptised them; it would make research so much easier.
William had a son my 3x Gt Gr Dad called Jacob, Baptised 9th Aug 1785 Hutton. Jacob moved to Darlington sometime before the 1841 census, but it seems he had also lived in Hartlepool for a few years. I'm wondering if the move had something to do with the cholera epidemic, or maybe just the lack of work as the weaving industry wound down. He worked as a Weaver in Darlington at Pease's Mill.
Great to see your website is going strong. Thanks for the articles, they are really interesting.

Take Care,

Dave Honneyman.
